What an exciting tournament so far. Though Berretini and Cilic could not attend due to last minute Covid, and Medvedev being banned for just being russian(!), we had a lot of exciting matches so far. Among them, the one between Djokovic and Sinner yesterday. The talented joung italian made a tremendous start, winning the first two sets, but as usual, the Serb regained all his talent to make one of tbe come-back he is used to and joined the last 4. Tonight, Rafa was also very close to the exit, being dominated by a fantastic Fritz who could not make the difference in the money time and lost with all honours in a fantastic super tie-break.
Now, hard to beleive the british Norrie can be a serious threat for Novak but he has nothing to loose at home in front of his compatriots. The other semi final seems to be the most exciting one between Rafa and Kyrgios! The crazy Aussie can beat anybody if he is on fire and has beaten several times Nadal but never in a five sets match if i m not wrong. He looks more focussed on his game than ever but mentally i doubt he can be solid enough to reach his first Grand Slam final ever. Let's see! Would be however so good to have a new comer in the final on Sunday. If not, we will enjoy one more time, a new clash between the two greatest players of all times For them, there is no limits. They are simply not humans...
