NATO LEADERS SUMMIT
President Erdoğan met face-to-face with US President Joe Biden at the NATO Leaders' Summit in Brussels. It is stated that the most important item of the meeting was the S-400 missile defense system purchased from Russia.
Prior to this meeting, Erdoğan met with French President Emmanuel Macron for 52 minutes, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel for half an hour and with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for 25 minutes.

LANDING IN LIBYA
Turkey sent a group to Libya before the second Berlin Conference to be held on June 23rd. A crowded high-level delegation consisting of Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, Chief of General Staff Yaşar Güler, Head of the National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and Presidency Spokesman İbrahim Kalın arrived Libya on June 12th.
Çavuşoğlu stated that meetings were held with Libyan Supreme State Council President Halid el Meşri, Presidential Council Chairman Muhammed el Menfi and council members, as well as with Prime Minister of National Unity Government Abdülhamid Dibeyba and Foreign Minister Necla Manguş.

IS TURKEY PERMANENTLY STAYING IN AFGHANISTAN?
It is stated that while the USA and NATO countries decided to withdraw from Afghanistan, Turkey offered to leave military force in Kabul and undertake the protection responsiblity of the airport in return for political, logistical and financial support. 

A WARNING FROM EU TO TURKEY
The Council of Europe (EC) Committee of Ministers warned that the 'European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) Violation' process would be initiated against Turkey because it did not implement the ECHR decisions. 

IMF'S REPORT ON TURKEY
In the Report about Turkey prepared by the IMF after the economic consultation; They emphasized that Turkey has become dependent on foreign resources and the risks have increased. It was noted that high inflation, as well as the rapid credit growth led by public banks, reduced confidence in monetary policies and encouraged dollarization.

G-7 SUMMIT
At the G7 Leaders' Summit, which was formed by the world's most developed countries, it was accepted to implement an alternative plan to the "One Belt One Road" program, which aims to influence China's world trade.
In accordance with the plan prepared under the title of “Rebuild the World Better”, it was decided to provide support and financing to underdeveloped or low-income countries that want to improve their infrastructure and invest in transportation. 
China, who reacted harshly to this decision taken at the G7 leaders' summit, announced that the times when decisions concerning the world were taken by a small group of people are now over.

IRANIAN ELECTIONS
Iranians go to the polls on June 18th to choose the new President to replace the reformist Hassan Rouhani, who was elected for two consecutive terms. Before the elections in Iran, about 500 applied to be a candidate. However, the 'Constitutional Guardian Council' approved only 7 of these applications to be candidates in the elections.
