ISRAEL CAUSES VIOLENCE IN JERUSALEM

In Jerusalem, the tension that started at the end of April in the month of Ramadan, which is holy for Muslims, escalated further as "Jerusalem Day" approached.

NEW CONSTITUTION DRAFT FROM MHP

MHP, one of the partners of the People's (Republic) Alliance, prepared a new 100-article draft constitution on the 100th anniversary of the Republic. The Constitution Draft, which MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli has given information under headings, suggests the establishment of the Supreme Court Board, of the Merit Institution. The text was announced at a press conference but was not shared with the public.

NEGOTIATIONS BEGINS WITH EGYPT

Diplomatic negotiations with Egypt after 8 years passed. The first meeting took place in Cairo. 
Other then the bilateral issues, the talks focused on especially the situation in Libya, Syria and Iraq, as well as regional issues and the need for peace and security in the Eastern Mediterranean.

ELECTION IN SYRIA

In the Presidential and Parliamentary elections to be held in Syria on May 26, even though 51 candidates applied only three names were approved for the candidacy, including Bashar Assad. In the Syrian elections, which Turkey declared in advance that it will not recognize the results, it is considered to be definite that Assad will be re-elected as the president!

LIBYA AGENDA IN GERMANY

In the Foreign Ministers meeting held in Berlin, German Foreign Minister Maas asked Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu to withdraw the soldiers in accordance with the conditions of the ceasefire agreement in Libya, the Berlin Conference Agreement and the resolutions of the UN Security Council.
